# Why did I create ContactHive?

Quick personal story: one day, I found myself frantically searching through emails, WhatsApp messages, and even handwritten notes trying to find a crucial detail about a contact. Spoiler: Never found it.

That’s when I thought: I need a solution. My network is bound to grow, and it’s vital to keep things well-organized while applying personal development tips that recommend freeing your mind to think rather than memorize.

I also realized this tool could help others, not just me. After all, I’m sure plenty of people juggle even larger and more dynamic networks. And that’s how ContactHive was born!

For the past two months, I’ve been in full development mode – fueled by caffeine and GitHub Issues. My goal? To quickly reach a functional version that’s already running on my phone. And guess what? It’s 75% there! 💥

I chose a modern tech stack:

• Firebase for statistical data management and authentication.
• React Native to make the app available on both iOS and Android (though I’m focusing on iOS first).
• Next.js for the website and showcase pages.

I can already record notes, track past interactions, and manage reminders. Internal tests are ongoing, and I’m working hard to make everything even smoother and more intuitive.
